Obituary: Ruth Marinuzzi (Porto Funeral Homes)

Ruth Renkewitz Marinuzzi, 83, of Meriden, CT passed away June 11, 2026 in the MidState Medical Center. Wife of the late John F. Marinuzzi. Beloved mother of Lucy Marinuzzi of Wallingford, John D. (Cassandra) Marinuzzi of North Haven and Tammy Marinuzzi and husband Pavel Amromin of Panama City, FL. Loving grandmother of Cassidy and Haley Bevacqua, Pearl and Ari Amromin and Francis “Frankie” Marinuzzi. Cherished great grandmother of Colton Bevacqua. Sister of Alfred Renkewitz of North Haven, Paul Renkewitz of East Haven and the late Rita Renkewitz. Ruth was born in New Haven on September 20, 1942 a daughter of the late Julius and Martha Kasparite Renkewitz. Prior to her retirement, Ruth worked at the MidState Medical Center for 43 years.

Family and friends are invited to a Parlor Service on Tuesday morning, June 16, 2026, at 10:00 in the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven, CT.
