What if love is more than just a feeling? What if it’s a source of inner strength!? Buddha taught that the more we care for others, the more peaceful, and resilient we become. Love, it turns out, actually protects the mind – helping us experience much deeper happiness and connection.
As we open our hearts to all living beings, we begin to feel more balanced, more grounded, and more at peace. In this way, love becomes our protector, shielding the mind from negativity, anger, and fear. As our love for others grows, it naturally weakens the habits of judgment and resentment, replacing them with patience, understanding, and inner strength. Although it may seem that we love only a few, our capacity to love is truly limitless.
In this retreat, we will be guided in meditations that show us how to develop and maintain a mind of pure loving kindness. Through practicing and gaining experience of these meditations we will discover how the precious mind of love brings happiness and protection to both ourself and others. A wonderful retreat for beginners and advanced practitioners. Everyone welcome!
