📰 News we're reading

• Pineapple-derived treatment at Moffitt Cancer Center helps veteran manage rare cancer (fox13news.com) — An 82-year-old Safety Harbor veteran, Ed Meyers, is seeing his rare appendix cancer tumor shrink by more than a third thanks to an experimental pineapple-derived treatment at Moffitt Cancer Center. Because traditional surgery was too risky, doctors used a BromAc infusion to liquefy and remove mucin, easing his symptoms and reducing his stomach size so he now returns only for periodic checkups.
