Child Porn Charges Land Bradenton Doctor In Prison: U.S. Dept. Of Justice
A Bradenton doctor who practiced medicine in Sarasota posed as a teenager online to ask a minor for nude photos, reports said.
BRADENTON, FL — A doctor who practiced internal medicine in Sarasota was recently sentenced to 15 years in federal prison for child porn related charges, the U.S. Department of Justice said in a news release.
Pete Supan, 36, of Bradenton pleaded guilty to coercion and enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity and production of child sex abuse material on Oct. 7, the department said.
Supan posed as a teenager online and asked a 14-year-old girl in Utah for nude photos, Patch previously reported.

Claiming to be 19 years old, he used an app to coerce and entice a minor to engage in sexual activity and send him photos, the DOJ said.
Supan admitted to communicating with the victim and said he knew she was under 18, court documents show.

This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
