Free downtown Sarasota event invites all fitness levels to try workouts, a 5K, recovery experiences and more<a href="https://www.jeffersonfit.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">Jefferson Fit</a>, a full-service fitness and recovery center in downtown Sarasota, is hosting FREE FIT DAY, a free morning of fitness, recovery and connection on Sunday, September 6, from 7 to 10 a.m.
Open to members, non-members and all fitness levels, <a href="https://www.jeffersonfit.com/stronger-everyday/free-fit-day-sarasota" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">FREE FIT DAY</a> is designed to give people an easy way to try something new, connect with others and find ways to stay active.
The morning begins at 7 a.m. with check-in, stretching and warmups, followed by a 5K run/walk through downtown Sarasota at 7:30 a.m. At 8 a.m., participants can take part in short group fitness class demonstrations led by the Jefferson Fit team.
Guests can also experience Jefferson Fit's recovery amenities, including cold plunges, dry and infrared saunas, HaloRed salt and red light therapy, and Hyperice compression recovery.
Coffee from Sarasota Sips and snacks will also be available throughout the morning.
&ldquo;We wanted to create something that connects Sarasota&rsquo;s fitness community, but also feels welcoming to people who are simply looking for a way to be more active,&rdquo; said Jefferson Charles, founder of Jefferson Fit. &ldquo;You don&rsquo;t have to be a member or consider yourself an athlete. Come with a friend, try something new and be part of the morning.&rdquo;
Jefferson Fit plans for FREE FIT DAY to become a monthly community event, giving Sarasota residents regular opportunities to try new workouts, connect with others and explore different ways to engage with a healthy routine.
FREE FIT DAY reflects Jefferson Fit's approach to fitness and wellness: giving people support, options and a place where they feel comfortable showing up. By bringing training, group fitness and recovery together in one location, Jefferson Fit gives people different ways to take care of themselves based on their own goals.

Jefferson Fit Hosts FREE FIT DAY for the Sarasota Community on September 6
