Nik Wallenda’s Wonderland Circus Presents: Home for the Holidays Returns to Sarasota

Come to be impressed. Leave inspired! That is the goal behind Wonderland Circus Presents: Home for the Holidays, the fourth annual holiday production from world-renowned performer Nik Wallenda, returning to Sarasota November 21 through January 2. Tickets go on sale October 2.

“We want to create unforgettable holiday memories for the community that means so much to us,” said Wallenda. “We want people to experience the wonder, excitement, and artistry of the circus, but also to feel something when they leave.”

Located just east of the Mall at University Town Center, Wonderland brings the talents and tradition of the circus together with an elevated experience. The 1,250-seat big top is like a theater, complete with comfortable seating, food and beverage offerings, air-conditioned restrooms and private hospitality space for catered gatherings, open-bar events and other special occasions.

And while the setting may feel familiar, the show is different every year.
This year's Home for the Holidays will feature thrilling circus acts, aerial performances, contortionists, storytelling and returning fan favorites. And for the first time under the big top in Sarasota, audiences will experience a thrilling new finale. Additional performers will be announced as the production takes shape.

At the center of it all is the Wallenda family's remarkable legacy. A seventh-generation member of one of the world's most celebrated circus families, Nik Wallenda has captivated audiences around the world with record-setting performances and extraordinary feats.

But Home for the Holidays is about more than the thrills.
Wallenda's wife, Erendira Wallenda, plays an integral role in bringing the production to life. She writes the show and oversees its costuming and staging, helping weave together the artistry, athleticism, storytelling and spectacle that define the Wonderland experience.
