Jury Finds Sarasota Man Guilty Of Child Porn Charges: U.S. DOJ
A Sarasota man met a 12-year-old victim on an app and used them to produce child sex abuse material, the U.S. Justice Department said.
SARASOTA, FL — A federal jury found a Sarasota man guilty of production, distribution, and receipt of child sex abuse material, and access with intent to view child sex abuse material, the U.S. Department of Justice said in a news release
Sean Anthony Christie, 43, faces up to 80 years in federal prison. His sentencing hearing hasn’t been scheduled.
Christie used a social media app to solicit, receive, and distribute child sexual abuse material of minors 12 years old and younger, the DOJ said.

He also used another app to meet minor girls, including a 12-year-old victim whom he used to produce child sex abuse material, the department said.
