476 Grams Of Cocaine Seized From Sarasota Home: Police
A man was arrested on drug charges after a raid on a Sarasota home, police said.

SARASOTA, FL — A 65-year-old man was arrested and more than 400 grams of cocaine was seized in a search warrant executed Friday morning on a Sarastota home, authorities said.
Lazaro Armando Rodriguez Gomez was charged with trafficking in cocaine (more than 400 grams), a felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, Sarasota police said in a news release.
During a search at the 8th Street home, Sarasota Police Department SWAT officers and Strategic Investigations Unit detectives found about $12,000 in small denominations of cash and 476 grams of cocaine in both rock and powder form, police said.

In addition to the drugs and cash, digital scales that tested positive for cocaine residue and drug paraphernalia.
