FL Charter Boat Captain Sold Cocaine He Found At Sea, Sheriff Says
A charter boat captain in the FL Keys was arrested on drug charges after selling cocaine he said he found at sea, authorities said.

MARATHON, FL — A charter boat captain in the Florida Keys was arrested Monday for selling drugs he reportedly found at sea, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
Bradford Todd Picariello, 65, of Marathon was charged with trafficking cocaine, selling cocaine and possessing cocaine.
MCSO Special Operations detectives bought a kilogram of cocaine from Picariello for $10,000 in cash on Monday after an investigation by High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area investigators, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol, U.S. Drug and Enforcement Administration, and CBP Air and Marine Operations.

About 23 kilograms of cocaine, $8,000 in cash, a 38-foot vessel and a handgun were seized during the investigation.
