1. 14-Time Felon Faces Drug Charges After Search Of Sarasota Home: Police (patch.com) — Sarasota police arrested a 58-year-old man after a pre-dawn search of his Old Bradenton Road home uncovered more than 100 grams of cocaine, other drugs and packaging materials. Investigators say an anonymous tip led to the warrant, and the longtime felon now faces trafficking and multiple drug-related charges after briefly being booked into Sarasota County Jail.
