Sarasota History Teacher Nominated For National Award
Dr. Jennifer Jaso of Sarasota Middle School was nominated for the Harris Teacher Award by the Museum of Florida History.

SARASOTA COUNTY, FL ā Dr. Jennifer Jaso of Sarasota Middle School was nominated for the Harris Teacher Award by the Museum of Florida History, administrator of the National History Day program in Florida. The Harris History Teacher of the Year award is sponsored by James F. Harris and is awarded to one middle and high school teacher annually.
āDr. Jennifer Jaso is one of our school districtās finest educators, and we are delighted for her to be recognized in this manner,ā said Todd Bowden, superintendent of Sarasota County Schools. āThe inspiration she provides her students is outstanding and we look forward to even greater outcomes for our students in the future.ā
