It seems the Go Pro company figured that out courtesy of a Cape Coral resident with a pair of the adorable creatures living in her yard. Wildlife photographer Megan Lorenz captured the two comical birds on film and Go Pro added a little magic, transforming her footage into a music video set to Aquadrop’s “Back and Forth,” according to the video’s YouTube page.

The resulting “Owl Dance-Off” video has since gone viral with more than 2 million viewers since it hit the net last weekend.

The pair of birds nicknamed Desi and Lucy by neighbors live in the yard of Pascha Donaldson, an admitted major fan of the little birds, NBC pointed out.

Donaldson described the critters as “cute, fuzzy, warm, whimsical and just delightfully entertaining,” the network reported.

Donaldson isn’t the only Cape Coral resident with a similar opinion. The annual Burrowing Owl Festival takes place Feb. 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Rotary Park, 5505 Rose Garden Road. The event has been a tradition for 13 years, according to its website, and features a variety of programs related to the city’s official bird. The city is home to the state’s largest burrowing owl population, the website notes.

Burrowing owls are found throughout the state and average only about 9 inches in height, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. The critters are the state’s smallest owls. To learn more about them, visit FWC online.
