18-Year-Old Died After Being Hit By 2 Cars While Crossing Road: FL Troopers
An 18-year-old Tampa man died after being hit by two cars while crossing Tampa highway, Florida Highway Patrol said.
TAMPA, FL — An 18-year-old Tampa man died after being hit by two cars while crossing Dale Mabry Highway on Saturday night, the Florida Highway Patrol said in a news release.
A Lincoln MKZ, driven by a 19-year-old Tampa woman, and a Honda Civic, driven by a 66-year-old Tampa man, right behind it, were heading north on the highway just before 10 p.m.`
While crossing the highway north of Idlewild Avenue West, the teen walked into the path of both cars, and was hit by each of them successively, troopers said.
