Tickets for the show go on sale to the general public starting Nov. 13.

For fans of James Cameron and the kind of visual artistry that has made Cirque du Soleil famous, an upcoming show might seem like a match made in heaven.

Cirque du Soleil is bringing its “TOURK – The First Flight” show to Tampa’s Amalie Arena in March 2016. Tickets for the James Cameron-inspired production go on sale to the general public starting Nov. 13.

“’TORUK - The First Flight’ is a live immersive multimedia spectacle that brings to the stage the breathtaking world of James Cameron’s ‘Avatar’ like you have never seen it before,” arena officials explained. “Through a riveting fusion of cutting-edge visuals, puppetry and stagecraft buoyed by a soaring cinematic score, Cirque du Soleil applies its unique signature style to James Cameron’s imaginary world and ‘makes the bond’ between two kindred artistic visions that capture the imagination.”
