On a positive note, Floridians came together to aid hurricane victims and several affordable housing projects are in the works.

FLORIDA — Some local heroes were honored this week including a firefighter who rescued a neighbor after her car slipped off a boat ramp and became submerged, an 11-year-old girl who is determined to stop bullying in her school and members of a sheriff's team who spotted a sea turtle trapped beneath the foundation of a home following Hurricane Ian and were able to set it free.
