CDC Expands List Of Coronavirus Symptoms
Sore throat, muscle pain and loss of sense of taste or smell have been added to the list of coronavirus symptoms.
ACROSS FLORIDA — The U.S. Health and Human Services Department has released a new list of coronavirus symptoms based on a report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
According to the CDC, people with coronavirus can have a wide range of symptoms — ranging from mild to severe illness. Symptoms may appear two to 24 days after exposure to the virus.
People with these symptoms may have the coronavirus:

- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fever
- Chills
- Muscle pain
- Sore throat
- New loss of taste or smell
This list is not all-inclusive. Other less-common symptoms have been reported, including nausea, vomiting or diarrhea.
Health and Human Services is recommending that anyone with these symptoms get tested for the coronavirus.

People should get immediate medical attention if they develop emergency warning signs for coronavirus like trouble breathing, persistent pain or pressure in your chest, or bluish lips or face.
