Disney World Ticket Prices Break Triple-Digit Mark
Is a day at the attraction worth the price?

Visitors to Disney’s Magic Kingdom might face a little sticker shock if they haven’t been in a while. The amusement park has raised the price of one-day tickets to the Magic Kingdom to $105 plus tax.
A hike was also introduced Sunday at Disney’s other three parks, including Epcot, but the increase to $97 keeps the cost under triple digits, the Florida Times Union reported.
Florida resident annual and seasonal passes have increased for the Magic Kingdom, as well. They’re up to $529 and $329, pre-tax, respectively. Prior to Sunday the prices were $485 and $319.

Tampa’s Busch Gardens, for example, charges $70 a day for a single-day weekday pass. An “Any Day” ticket to the Tampa park is $80, which includes a free second day if used within seven days of the first visit, according to the park’s website. Visitors can also purchase a pass for any two parks for two-day entry at $99. That offer includes SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, Adventure Island and Aquatica. Further savings are available for Florida residents.
Universal Studios Florida comes close to Disney World’s new pricing at $96 for a one-day ticket.
Disney spokesman Bryan Malenius explained the hike to the Sun-Sentinel: “A day at a Disney park is unlike any other in the world, and there is a strong demand for our attractions and entertainment.”
