An Evening with Khaled Hosseini, author of The Kite Runner

Inkwood Books welcomes best-selling author Khaled Hosseini for a book-talk and signing of his much anticipated novel And The Mountains Echoed, due out on May 21, 2013.  Rob Lorei of WMNF Radio will serve as moderator. Khaled Hosseini was born in Kabul, Afghanistan in 1965, the son of a diplomat and a teacher. He wrote his first novel, The Kite Runner, in 2001 while still a medical student, and two years later the book, published by Riverhead, became an international bestseller as well as a beloved classic. In 2007, his second novel, A Thousand Splendid Suns debuted at #1 on the New York Times bestseller list. In 2006, Hosseini was named a Goodwill Envoy to UNHCR, the United Nations Refugee Agency.



Book and Ticket Package for $35, which includes ONE copy of And the Mountains Echoed and TWO event tickets, and an autograph voucher for each of Dr. Hosseini’s books purchased from Inkwood. A portion of event proceeds will be donated to the Khaled Hosseini Foundation.*

Advance Ticket Packages available only through INKWOOD BOOKS. Packages will be available at the Tampa Theatre Box Office on the day of show. As per publisher's instructions, only attendees who have purchased a copy (or copies) of And the Mountains Echoed from Inkwood Books will be allowed in the signing line. Dr. Hosseini will sign as many copies of the new book as you purchase and will also sign your copy of The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns.
