"Erase Hate" Festival: Kids' Activities, Concert, and More (*CANCELED)

NOTE: As of Friday, organizers had canceled this festival, saying it was postponed to a later date because of the weather forecast.

The non-profit organization Erase Hate Tampa Bay -- which celebrates civility, kindness, respect and inclusion -- presents this day-long festival of fun for the community.

From 12pm to 5:30pm, enjoy activities such as a rock-climbing wall, a giant slide, an obstacle course, face-painting, arts and crafts, and a bungee jump, plus carnival food and live entertainment by musical acts and local dance troupes.

Mayor Bob Buckhorn is expected to make an appearance during the afternoon to proclaim April 21 "Erase Hate Tampa Bay" Day, organizers say.
