This event benefits the nonprofit Women Helping Others Succeed, a Harbor Island organization that assists people with physical limitations to participate in athletic events and encourages folks to share their love of running.
The block party begins at 6 p.m. and the 5K timed run starts at 7.30 p.m.
Participants will run along Bayshore Boulevard to West Bay to Bay Boulevard, then back to the Village where the party will continue until 10 p.m.

The block party features entertainment, live music, and food and beverage vendors.
Registered participants will receive a short sleeve cotton T-shirt, light nourishment and a beverage ticket for the party.
