Lightning, Penguins: When To Tune In For Game 1

The first game in the Eastern Conference Finals has been scheduled. The Lightning will take the ice later this week.

TAMPA, FL — Tampa Bay Lightning fans eager to watch the Bolts return to the Eastern Conference Championships don’t have much longer to wait. The team faces off against Pittsburgh this Friday.

The first game in the best-of-seven series will be played in Pennsylvania. The start time is set for 8 p.m., according to the Lightning website.

Fans who can’t make the trek to watch the Bolts take on the Penguins can tune in on CBC, NBCSN and TVAS, according to the team.

The rest of the schedule has yet to be announced, but the action won’t head to Tampa until game three gets under way. Tickets for the series go on sale Thursday.

Bolts fans will be able to start purchasing single-game tickets at 2 p.m. May 12, the team announced in a media release. A maximum of three games will be played at Tampa’s Amalie Arena during the conference finals.

Tickets will be available via TampaBayLightning.com/tickets or by calling Ticketmaster at 1-800-745-3000. Fans who buy tickets through Ticketmaster for games that aren’t played due to a team wrapping up the series early will have their money automatically refunded. Fans are reminded there is a strict four ticket per household limit for each game.

“Once playoff dates are finalized ticket-buyers will be notified via email and will be able to print their tickets 48 hours prior to each respective game,” the team’s release noted.
