Photo: Officer Takes Time Out for Kids
A Tampa Police officer was caught on camera showing some kids he's just one of the guys.

Patrolling a beat is long, tiring work that often requires running from call to call. That, however, doesn’t mean an officer can’t take time out now and again for a breather or to toss a football with some local kids.
The latter happened to sound like a good idea to Tampa Police Officer Chadwick Pigott earlier this week. The patrolman spotted some kids playing ball at Desoto Park and decided to join in the fun for a short time.
Someone snapped a shot of Pigott in action, throwing the ball. It seems that shot must have tickled the folks at Tampa Police Headquarters because it was promptly posted on the agency’s Facebook page.
