Rumore: That our defenders needed to just go for the block and not wait for help. The way they were running their offense, it didn't give us time to get two blockers up to the net.

Patch: After dropping the second game to fall into an 0-2 hole, what did you tell the team going into game three?

Rumore: That we had to be more agressive, get after them. The way they were playing, we couldn't wait for them to make a mistake.

Patch: Is this a tough way to end the season?

Rumore: They were the better team (Wednesday night). Who knows what would happen on another day, but (Wednesday) was their night. I am happy with the way the season went, though.

Patch: Comment on your graduating class.

Rumore: None of these seniors are playing in college. They're playing because they want to, because they love their school and want to play for Plant. That's different.

Patch: What do you look forward to building on for next year?

Rumore: There are some very good JV players coming up next year. We also have a lot of juniors on this team, so we'll be a senior-heavy team next year.

Patch: How do you feel about your debut season as coach of Plant volleyball?

Rumore:  It's an honor to be coach here. Everyone at the school has been so supportive.
