Robinson Knights Knock Off Spoto Spartans, Extend Win Streak to Four.
The Robinson Knights (6-1, 5-1 Class 5A District 8) beat Spoto (4-4-1, 4-3 Class 5A District 8) on Thursday night, Oct. 20.

"We're still the quietest 6-1 team in the county," said head coach Mike DePue.
DePue repeats his mantra every week and every week it keeps his team focused on their task at hand. The Robinson Knights win streak extends to four games and the matchup with Lakewood Oct. 28 will have playoff implications.
Thursday night, the Knights took care of business with Spoto Spartans.

"We blocked a punt, got an interception early, that set us up," said DePue.
Senior receiver Byron Pringle scored on a 60-yard touchdown out of the wildcat formation. Senior tight end Tre Leonard had two touchdown catches.

"Both offense and defense had solid games," said DePue.
"Spoto had some athletic players and a couple big plays that hurt us."
