Run for 11-11-11

You stil have time to sign up for the Women Helping Others Succeed Run For 11-11-11 5k and Block Party on Friday, Nov. 11.

The block party begins at 6 p.m. and the 5K timed run starts at 7.30 p.m. at Hyde Park Village, 1621 W Snow Circle.

Participants will run along Bayshore Boulevard to West Bay to Bay Boulevard, then back to the Village where the party will continue until 10 p.m.

The event will feature entertainment, live music, and food and beverage vendors.

Registered participants will receive a short sleeve cotton T-shirt, light nourishment and a beverage ticket for the party.

Registration is $30 and proceeds will benefit the non-profit Women Helping Others Succeed (WHOS).

The Harbor Island organization assists people with physical limitations to participate in athletic events and encourages folks to share their love of running.
