In 1950, Charles Shultz began publishing the Peanuts comic strip and its soon to be famous characters - Snoopy, Linus, Lucy and Charlie Brown. Creating over 17,000 comic strips over 50 years, Shultz brought happiness and humor into many of our lives.

Please join us as Dr. Charlie Mahan shares his insights as a prominent collector of original cartoons, animations and comic strips, as well as cartoonist himself. Collecting and drawing since he was 12 years old, Dr. Mahan has a lifelong passion for animation art and cartoons.

This gallery presentation corresponds to the exhibit — Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown! from the Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center in Santa Rosa, California, on display from Nov.1 – Jan 11, 2015. Space is limited to 25; reservations are required.
