Search On For Bank Robbery Suspect
The man is accused of attempting to rob a SunTrust branch in Tampa Thursday afternoon.

TAMPA, FL — The Tampa Police Department is looking for help identifying a man it says attempted to rob a SunTrust bank Thursday afternoon.
According to the agency, the man went into the 4545 Himes Ave. branch around 1:10 p.m. The man handed a note to a bank employee demanding money. He left the bank, however, on foot, without getting any money, the police department wrote in an email to media.
Anyone who has information about the case or who recognizes the man is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS. Anonymous tips may also be submitted online at www.crimestopperstb.com.
