Sketch Released of Tampa Stabbing Suspect
The man is accused of stabbing two women recently.

The Tampa Police Department has released a sketch of the man they believe responsible for stabbing two women in recent weeks.
Victims in the two cases sat down with sketch artists from the Hillsborough County Sheriffâs Office to create the likeness.
The first case occurred back on Dec. 27 around 9:30 p.m. in the 4700 block of Armenia Avenue. A woman, an email from police spokeswoman Andrea Davis stated, was approached from behind by a man who stabbed her in the chest. The woman, who has not been identified, suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

On Jan. 20, a similar attack occurred. This time a woman was sitting on a bus bench on the corner of Armenia Avenue and Violet Street around 8:30 p.m. A man approached her and asked if she was waiting on the bus, Davis wrote. When the woman said âyes,â and turned to look in the direction of the bus, she was stabbed in the neck. That victim also received serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, Davis noted.
The suspect in both cases has been described as a white or Hispanic male between the age of 20 and 30. He stands about 5 feet, 7 inches in height, has a âvery skinnyâ build and short, curly hair.
