Boys Edge Chinese TaiPei for World Championship

The boys of Palma Ceia/Bayshore Little League are 2011 World Series Championships. They beat China, 2-1, on the back of a Patrick Kiszla homerun.

It was a hard fought game. The only offense from Palma Ceia came on a second inning chop by Patrick Kiszla that sailed over the center field wall for a two-run homer.

Jake Woodford put in five strong innings, only surrendering one run, only to have Partick come in and get the next six batters out.

A couple of great defensive plays by Donovan Berry and Ronnie Ramirez helped keep Chinese Taipei off the bases in the sixth and seventh innings.
