Floyd’s 99 Barbershop of South Tampa today announced plans for their grand opening event to be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m. The day-long celebration will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, an in-shop scavenger hunt, prizes, and more. The shop, located at 1155 S. TAMPA, FL – The Tampa Police Department is investigating the death of a man found Wednesday night in his home in the Grant Park area.According to the agency, a call came in around 11:03 p.m. about a man down at 3416 N. 55th St. When police arrived, they found Ricardo D. McCalop, 26, suffering from upper body trauma. McCalop was taken to Tampa General Hospital where he later died.Few details are available at this time.
