Here are the top stories today in Tampa:

1. Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections Craig Latimer is mailing more than 316,000 ballots to domestic voters for the upcoming general election on Oct. 6. The deadline to register to vote (if not already registered) for the general election is Oct. 11. (Tampa Patch)

2. Over 400 people rallied at the Tampa Riverwalk this past Saturday in support of protests happening across Iran after the death of a woman arrested by police three weeks ago. The Freedom for Iran rally was one of over 100 around the world. (WMNF)

3. Three Orlando men have been charged with murder after police said a man was shot and left to die on a road in Polk County's unincorporated Haines City last month. The suspects charged in the incident are Felix Jomar Agosto Velazquez, Joel Javier Ortega, and Bryan Jose Colon Deleon. (WFLA)

4. The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) is waiving some work search requirements for unemployment aid to assist those impacted by Hurricane Ian, including those in the Tampa area. Disaster Unemployment Assistance (DUA) is available to Florida businesses and residents in FEMA-designated disaster counties. (ABC Action News)

5. The team behind Due Amici is opening a wine bar in Ybor City this fall called Geo's at 1730 East 7th Ave. The restaurant will offer meats and cheeses from around the world in a lounge atmosphere. (Creative Loafing Tampa, That's So Tampa)
