
Tampa has two chances to win its fifth bid for playing host to a Super Bowl.
The NFL announced Wednesday that the Bay is in the running as a finalist for the 2019 and 2020 Super Bowls. Tampa is competing against such locations as Miami, New Orleans and Atlanta for the honors during one of those years, according to the NFL.
Cities for the next few years have already been lined up with the 2016 game taking place in Santa Clara, Calif. The 2017 matchup is set for Houston while the 2018 game goes to Minneapolis.

Tampa last played host to Super Bowl XLIII in 2009.
Tampa has until next May to put its bid together for a chance at one of those years. Bids will be presented to the NFL ownership group for a final vote at that time.
