Tampa Theatre Announces 2015 Holiday Classics Lineup
The historic theater is poised to help Tampa Bay area residents get into the spirit.

Tampa Bay area residents who can’t get into the holiday spirit without watching “Miracle on 34th Street” at least once might want to get their calendars ready. The Tampa Theatre has announced the lineup for its Holiday Classics series.
Presented by Bank of America, this year’s series kicks off Sunday, Nov. 29 with a 3 p.m. showing of “Miracle on 34th Street” at the historic downtown Tampa venue. Santa is expected to make a pre-holiday appearance before this show. Rumor has it he’ll be in the lobby for family photos around 2 p.m. and plans to share a story from the stage just before the film starts to roll.

- “Holiday Inn” – This show hits the screen Sunday, Dec. 6 at 3 p.m., featuring Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire.
- “White Christmas” – Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye take the spotlight in this classic movie presentation Sunday, Dec. 13 at 3 p.m.
- “It’s a Wonderful Life” – Jimmy Stewart’s classic film is set to run at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18.
- “Home Alone” – The newest of the classics in this year’s series, but a classic nonetheless. The film celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. The Tampa Theatre plans to play the Macaulay Culkin hit at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 27.
