Taylor Swift Tampa Show: What You Need to Know

The singer is expected to perform to a sold-out crowd on Halloween.

Taylor Swift fans who intend to make their way to Raymond James Stadium Halloween night to see the singer live need to know a few things before they go.

According to the Tampa Sports Authority, there are some ins and outs and rules of the road to go along with Saturday’s sold-out performance. Here’s what fans need to know:

Gate Times and Parking

The gates will open at 5 p.m. and parking lots at 3 p.m. The cost to park is $25.

Box Office/Will Call

This will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and again starting at 10 a.m. on Oct. 31. The box office can be found at the south end of the stadium.

Show Times

The concert starts at 7 p.m. and is expected to end by 10:45 p.m.

Costumes

Since it is a Halloween show, costumes are allowed, but fans need to follow these rules:

  • No masks of any kind are allowed
  • Face paint is OK
  • Costumes cannot drag on the ground and must not obstruct vision
  • Costumes cannot have sharp or pointed objects on them or large props
  • Any items that might be mistaken for weapons should be left at home
  • Any costume deemed offensive will not be allowed
  • Lights are OK, but only battery packs using AA batteries (three batteries maximum) are permitted

Signs

  • Fans can bring signs, banners and flags, but they cannot obstruct the view of others
  • Patrons are not allowed to hold their signs up for prolonged periods of time
  • Lights are OK, but the three-battery rule applies
  • Signs cannot be attached to sticks or poles and they must not contain offensive language

Cameras

  • No video or GoPro cameras are allowed
  • Still cameras are OK as long as they are 12-inches in length or less
  • Camera bags and cases are not allowed
  • Tripods, monopods and selfie sticks are banned

Items Not Permitted

  • Backpacks, duffel bags or large bags
  • Lasers
  • Umbrellas
  • Outside food or beverages
  • Radio scanning and/or jamming equipment
  • Strollers
  • Non-flexible glow sticks
  • Drones and radio controlled model aircraft
  • Artificial noisemakers
  • Recreational balls and equipment

Fans will be screened upon entry to the stadium

Merchandise

  • This will be sold outside and in for cash or credit

Stadium Tours

  • They’re on hold until Nov. 3

Mobile Tickets

These are OK, but fans are encouraged to save their tickets as an image or PDF in case they lose their signal at the stadium. Printing out a ticket is also advised.

WiFi

This is free at the stadium, but could be pretty slow due to the number of folks expected to attend.

Drop Off/Pick Up

Parents who intend to drop off their kids will find Hillsborough Community College is the place to go. Follow signs to the designated drop off area on the campus. Parents who wish to park after drop off will have to pay $25.

Stadium officials also note these rules:

  • Vehicles returning to park in the designated pick up area may not arrive any
  • earlier than 9:30 p.m.
  • Any arrivals to the pickup area after 10:15 p.m. may be significantly delayed and/or re-routed
  • Local law enforcement will not allow drop offs at any other area than the designated drop off/pick up point.
