Two Winning Powerball Tickets Sold In Florida
A winning ticket in MI took home the $842.4 million Powerball jackpot Monday, while two FL tickets won $1M and $2M prizes, respectively.

FLORIDA â While someone in Michigan took home the $842.4 million Powerball jackpot in Mondayâs drawing â the fifth-largest prize ever â while two Florida tickets won $1 million and $2 million prizes, respectively.
A single ticket sold in Michigan matched all six numbers drawn, according to a news release. The jackpot has a cash value of $425.2 million.
The drawingâs winning numbers were the five white balls - 12, 21, 42, 44 and 49 - and the red Powerball, 1, according to a news release. The Power Play multiplier was 3X.

The winner will take home the tenth-largest U.S. lottery jackpot ever won. The drawing also marked the first time the Powerball jackpot has been won on New Yearâs Day since the game launched in 1992.
The jackpot has been growing since mid-October before it was hit Monday night in this runâs 35th drawing.

In addition to the jackpot, there were more than 1.8 million winning tickets nationwide. Players won lower-tier cash prizes worth $22.7 million combined.
Other top-winning tickets include four sold in California, Connecticut, Florida and Maryland that matched all five white balls to win $1 million prizes.
Two tickets sold in Florida and Texas matched all five white balls and won $2 million prizes by including the Power Play option for an additional $1 per play.
The two winning tickets in Florida were sold at Publix stores at 10928 Cross Creek Blvd. in Tampa and 1537 NW Saint Lucie West Blvd. in Port Saint Lucie.
There were also 42 tickets that won $50,000 prizes and seven tickets that won $150,000 prizes.
The next Powerball drawing is Wednesday at 10:59 EST with a $20 million prize.
