Veterans Day 2015 Tampa Bay Weather

Find out what to expect in the Tampa Bay area.

Tampa Bay area residents who plan to mark Veterans Day with outdoor activities are likely to find the weather most cooperative.

According to the National Weather Service, the Bay area is in for a sunny day with little or no rain in sight. The high should reach the mid-80s during the daytime hours. An overnight low in the upper 60s is also anticipated.

While the forecast for Wednesday, Nov. 11, is mild, residents may want to be mindful for the potential of rough local waters. The service issued a rip current statement for coastal Tampa Bay area waters Tuesday. It is unclear if rough conditions will stick around through Wednesday, so beachgoers and boaters are urged to check before they head out.
