
After another weekend of heavy rain and flood advisories, it looks like the Tampa Bay area might get a chance to dry off a little.
The National Weather Service is forecasting a fairly normal summertime weather pattern to kick off the week. That doesn’t mean, however, that some storms aren’t in the forecast. Here’s a look at what the service anticipates as the week moves forward:
Monday
- High temperature – Low 90s
- Low temperature – Mid-70s
- Rain chances – About a 10 percent chance in the afternoon hours followed by 20 percent overnight in much of the Bay.
Tuesday
- High temperature – Low 90s
- Low temperature – Uppers 70s
- Rain chances – About 20 percent during the daytime hours.
Wednesday
- High temperature – Around 90
- Low temperature – Upper 70s
- Rain chances – About 30 percent during the daytime hours and 40 percent overnight.
Thursday
- High temperature – Upper 80s
- Low temperature – Upper 70s
- Rain chances – Storms are likely during the daytime hours with a 60 percent chance forecast. Those chances drop to about 50 percent overnight.
Friday
- High temperature – Upper 80s
- Low temperature – Upper 70s
- Rain chances – About 60 percent during the daytime hours followed by 40 percent overnight.
