2 Florida License-Free Fishing Weekends In June 2020

Florida's Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is giving you two opportunities this June to enjoy license-free fishing.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL —Floridians can take advantage of the annual license-free saltwater fishing weekend that takes place every June.

This is the time for people who have never tried fishing to see if this is an activity they find enjoyment from.

“People are getting outdoors now more than ever,” said Eric Sutton, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission executive director, in a news release. “Why not participate in or introduce someone new to the lifetime activity of fishing. We encourage anglers to get out on the water and discover why Florida is the fishing capital of the world.”
