ST. PETERSBURG, FL — A 28-year-old man was arrested Monday in connection with a 2025 fatal shooting at a club, St. Petersburg police said in a news release.
Jermaine Ivery was charged with first-degree murder in the Feb. 9 shooting death of Delvin Jaquez Ford, 27.
The shooting happened just before 3:30 a.m. after a fight inside a club at 901 9th Avenue S. continued in the parking lot, police said.
Several shots were fired and Ford was hit by a bullet while trying to leave the scene in a vehicle.
He crashed into a pole and was brought to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital, where he died from his injuries a short time later.
A second victim, a 26-year-old woman, was hit in the leg during the shooting.
