Elderly St. Pete Couple Dead In Apparent Murder-Suicide

ST. PETERSBURG, FL — The St. Petersburg Police Department is investigating a murder-suicide that was discovered late Friday night.

According to the agency, police were called out to 700 35th Ave. N. late Friday night. Inside the home, they found the bodies of Gerard “Gary” Joseph Stempinski, 69, and his wife, Marie S. Stempinski, 72.

Police have not said how the couple died, and no further information is being released at this time.
