On the eve of the matchup between the FIU (Miami) Panthers and the Marshall (W. Va.) Thundering Herd, adults and kids are invited to pound the pavement and raise money for the Mike Alstott Family Foundation and Athletes for Hearts.
Racers meet in the Tropicana Field parking lot. The children's race starts at 5:30pm and heads along Central Avenue to finish in front of Ferg's.
The certified 5K course for adults begins at 6pm and also finishes in front of Ferg's.
