Herbalists and "lovers of all things herbal" are invited to celebrate National Herb Day with free herb and food tastings, Kava Kava, local herb plants for sale, free film showings, and opportunities to visit with local experts to learn about the uses of herbs in health and well-being.
Lectures include Growing Herbs in Florida, Herb and Drug Interactions, Cooking with Herbs, and Making Herbal Medicines.
Lorraine Hodgkinson, a practicing herbalist in England, is a keynote speaker.

The Urban Gypsies will perform music from 11am to 2pm.
The first 50 attendees will receive goody bags. Prize drawings and raffles will be held throughout the day. Raffle proceeds benefit the the Florida Herb Society and the West Coast Chapter of the American Herbalists Guild.
