Play: "In the Next Room, or The Vibrator Play"

This "charming and irreverent comedy of manners" by Sarah Ruhl is set against the backdrop of "the Victorian medical practice of using vibrators to cure women of "hysteria," the theater says. It features one woman -- a doctor's wife -- who becomes set on a mission to revitalize her marriage.
