Former Buc Dave Moore New Shorecrest Coach

On Wednesday afternoon, former Tampa Bay Buccaneer tight end Dave Moore was introduced as the new head football coach at Shorecrest Preparatory School.

For 15 seasons Dave Moore played in the NFL, 13 of which for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 

Next season, he'll be the new head football coach at Shorecrest Preparatory School. 

After retiring from the NFL in 2007, Moore began working for the Buccaneers Radio Network as the color analyst alongside play-by-play commentator Gene Deckerhoff, a school news release said.

Shorecrest Athletic Director and former Minnesota Vikings football player, Tripp Welborne, said in a school news release “For over a decade and a half, Dave has had a profound impact on the football community in the Tampa Bay area, and we are very excited and fortunate that he is passionate about touching our student's lives every day as a coach and mentor. Dave is a great asset to Shorecrest Athletics, and we are thrilled to have him as a part of our Shorecrest family.”
