Fundraising event for Booker High School Foundation raises over $33,000
Over $33,000 was recently raised for the Booker High School Foundation during the first Bull Market at The Blue Rooster fundraising event.
Over $33,000 was recently raised for the Booker High School Foundation during the first Bull Market at The Blue Rooster fundraising event, supported and partially funded by Eric Robinson (EricRobinsonforSchoolBoard.com), a District 3 Sarasota County School Board candidate.
Two hundred guests enjoyed live music, a dinner of savory southern classics, a cash bar featuring signature cocktails and an array of unique themed gift baskets at Blue Rooster last week. Robinson donated all the cost for food so every dollar benefits Booker High School Foundation’s many educational programs.
“This first fundraising event was a huge success for the Booker High School Foundation,” said Robinson. “I’m proud to support an event where all proceeds raised will benefit the valuable programs at Booker High School and its students.”

About Eric Robinson
Robinson currently serves the Sarasota community at Robinson, Hanks, Young and Roberts, CPA, which he opened in 2004. He was previously appointed to prestigious positions by Jeb Bush, such as the statewide Workforce Florida as the finance chairman (served four years) and the chairman of the Sarasota Bradenton Airport Authority. He has also served as treasurer for several high profile political campaigns for conservative candidates in Florida.

Robinson’s career started with the Department of Justice, where he worked for three years as a contracting officer. He has also worked as a contractor manager for the American Welding Society, purchasing director for Lucent Technologies and started Senior Networks, a data networking company that restored computers and worked with new wireless advances. His clients included the University of Miami, St. Thomas University, School Boards throughout Florida, hospitals and more.
