Seminole Gas Leak Cleared

SEMINOLE, FL — Update: The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office reports that the intersection of Park Boulevard and Starkey Road is now open following a Tuesday afternoon gas leak.

Motorists are being asked to steer clear of the intersection of Park Boulevard and Starkey Road in Seminole Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, a gas leak in the area has closed the entire intersection. Neighboring businesses have also been evacuated.

Motorists are being asked to take alternative routes until further notice.

It is unclear how long the closing will last.
