Halfacre Construction Company (HalfacreConstruction.com), the area’s oldest, most established, locally owned and operated private commercial construction company, recently unveiled its new website with enhanced capabilities and a streamlined look.

The revamped user-friendly website greets visitors with a more clean and sophisticated appearance that integrates Halfacre Construction Company’s signature colors - blue and yellow. The more modern design also includes updated capability for use with mobile devices like an iPhone or iPad.

“I’m extremely proud of the work we do within this community, and this updated website really allows us to showcase those projects,” said Jack Cox, president of Halfacre Construction Company.

Guests can access features and information more easily, including the company’s project portfolio that highlights and sorts projects, a list of available services and a section that provides in-depth history, associations and awards information, testimonials and references. The website was created by Knight Marketing, an 18-year-old strategic marketing firm that is part of Imprezzio, a global group of marketing and web development companies.

Located at 7015 Professional Parkway E. in Sarasota, the family-owned business was founded by Bill Halfacre in 1940. Since then, the commercial construction company has worked in the community, completing projects like Charlotte County’s Gasparilla Road, new structures for the Punta Gorda Airport and the expanded facilities for Sun Hydraulics.
