How's The Water? Report Offers Look At Quality Of City's Water
The St. Petersburg Water Quality Report Card contains all of the latest information on upgrades to the city's water system.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – If you’ve wondered about the quality of the water pouring out of your kitchen faucet, a just-released report card from the city of St. Petersburg has all the answers.
The St. Petersburg Water Quality Report Card contains all of the latest information on upgrades to the city’s water system and an analysis of the city’s water quality as mandated by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
"It's an opportunity to share what we know now," said Interim Water Resources Director John Palenchar. "It also helps us plan for further fact-finding in the future."

The report card presents information for two central themes related to water quality - environmental health and human health. It also shows how the city has implemented a series of water quality monitoring programs that provide insight into the status of the city’s water quality.
"This is all a part of keeping our residents and visitors well-informed," said Claude Tankersley, public works administrator. "Water is our most precious natural resource."
