Hunt For St. Pete Murder Suspect Continues
A $3,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to the man's arrest.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – The St. Petersburg Police Department is looking for help tracking down a man it says is responsible for the shooting death of a 17-year-old boy Tuesday.
To help out, Crime Stoppers has stepped forward with a $3,000 reward for information in the case.
Police say Abrion Witcher, 18, and Gabriel J. Wallace, 17, got into an argument outside a home in the 2300 block of 13th Avenue South around 4 p.m. Tuesday. At some point, Witcher, police said, pulled out a gun and shot Wallace. The teen was taken to a local hospital, but later died from his injuries. A hunt for Witcher has been on since Tuesday evening.

Witcher is described as standing about 5 feet, 7 inches in height and weighs an estimated 165 pounds. His hair, police noted, is no longer in the twists reflected in his photo, but is said to be a “messy, one inch afro.”
