J.E. Charlotte Construction Corp. completes clubhouse at Players Club Longboat Key

J.E. Charlotte Construction Corp. (JECharlotte.com), a Venice-based construction company that provides a full range of services, recently completed the new 3,900-square-foot social center for the residents of the Players Club Longboat Key.

Exclusively for owners and renters, the new clubhouse includes a fitness center with machines and free weights, library, multipurpose rooms for banquets, meetings and events with a state-of-the-art kitchen as well as management offices for staff. The exterior of the building features a wraparound veranda, a covered patio, an outdoor entertaining area with grills and a fire pit and all new landscaping.

Completed in early January, J.E. Charlotte Construction Corp. began demolition in June on the existing 30-year-old, 2,000-square-foot clubhouse, office and adjacent raised deck areas. The over $1.3-million construction project encompassed approximately 8,000 square feet.
